Ms. Salvo joined Massey Quick Simon in its nascent stages and was drawn to the priority placed by the founders on client service. As a Client Advisor and Certified Financial Planner™, Ms. Salvo advises clients across many aspects of wealth management so they can spend less time worrying and more time enjoying the life they have worked hard to build. This includes developing customized portfolios; education, retirement, and estate planning; cash flow analysis; and assessment of risk tolerance and time horizon. She liaises with clients' CPAs and attorneys to enhance communication while managing the investment process, trouble-shooting issues, and enhancing tax planning. After graduating cum laude from Hartwick College with a major in English, Ms. Salvo started her career as a fundraiser and event-planner for non-profits, and always enjoyed working with teams – motivating them to work better together and raise more dollars for the cause – and felt the best way to accomplish this was to take the time to understand each of the individuals she worked with. This customized approach carried over as she sought out a career in financial services. She was drawn to the challenge of learning a new field that catered to individuals and their financial well-being. Each of the families she works with is unique and deserves a customized, high-touch approach in managing their wealth.Over the years, she has often struggled to involve her female clients who prefer instead to let their husbands take the lead in financial matters. In response, she created and now spearheads the firm’s Women’s Network Initiative, a unique effort of over 500 members to more deeply engage, educate, and empower our female clients and professionals in our network. To learn more about joining our network please email us at: MQWomensInitiative@mqsadvisors.com.
